Thanks to our complete mastery of mechanics, electronics and embedded software, our 15 engineers at the NOVAL design office develop motorisation and automation systems that are seamlessly integrated into their environment. The first step is to define a design strategy. We analyse the context and the expected functions in order to draw up a technical and financial feasibility study. This ideation phase enables us to establish a proof of concept and identify the resources and development time required.

In this context, NOVAL Street is committed to working in a strict confidentiality of the projects entrusted to us. Our teams rely on over twenty years' experience in drive systems, as well as a portfolio of patents and proven technical solutions. This expertise often enables us to reuse certain technological building blocks or components from our catalogue, to accelerate development and reduce costs.

Next comes the product development, from prototype to production preparation. The Project management on the NOVAL Street side is therefore handled by an engineer from our design office.  In coordination with management, he/she manages the teams electronics and software developers dedicated.

The phase of product development covers the entire project, from the prototype right through to production. In coordination with the management team at NOVAL Street, an engineer from the design office then controls the technical teams specialising in electronics and dedicated software developers, to ensure the project runs smoothly and your solution is a success.

Our teams apply a proven methodology that includes design to cost, sourcing and integration of actuators, design of electronic diagrams and routing, as well as kinematic validation.

Development is carried out with regular exchanges with the customer to adjust technical and financial choices. To speed up development, we use several 3D printing technologies (wire deposition and sintering). Depending on requirements, we can go through stages of simulations, calculation notes or other mechanical, electronic, EMC and software tests.

Our buyers and suppliers are supported by a network of responsive local and international suppliers.

All these resources are part of the dynamic of the ERMIC TECHNOLOGIES Group, which invests 5 to 6 M€ in research and development.

The third stage is industrialisation. It consists of transforming the product developed into a solution reliable, reproducible and ready for series production.

This phase includes drafting of technical files (leaflets, documentation, labels with QR codes, etc.), the structuring nomenclatures, as well as managing and securing supplies. Our teams also define the assembly procedures, In addition, the company is responsible for the design, manufacture and installation of the necessary tools and the organisation of production workstations to ensure efficient, consistent production over time.

The introduction of assembly lines is accompanied by the operator training, in order to ensure the quality and reproducibility of the products. Depending on the project, NOVAL Street teams may also be called upon to train the customer's teams, assist with production start-up or provide on-site support during the first series.

During this phase, NOVAL Street remains particularly listening to feedback, This enables the processes to be adjusted if necessary and the reliability, maintainability and industrial performance of the product to be optimised.

Finally, NOVAL Street ensures the product lifecycle management to guarantee its reliability and durability over time.

This phase includes production monitoring, control of level of quality, and the ongoing optimisation of manufacturing processes and product performance. Our teams remain committed to supporting technical developments and adapt solutions if necessary.

The engineers also provide technology and industry watch to identify relevant innovations and opportunities for improvement. At the same time, the’changes in the cost of components and supplies is being closely monitored in order to continue optimise product costing throughout its life.

NOVAL Street finally provides the maintenance support as contractually agreed, spare parts management and technical support for partners and installers, in order to guarantee the highest level of customer satisfaction. reparability, sustainability and continuous improvement solutions.
